WWII U.S. Marine Corps Photo Water Tanks on Green Island Beach by CPL Dave Ohman

You are bidding on a World War II official U.S. Marine Corps photo titled "Water Tanks".  The photo measures approximately 8" tall and 10" wide.  The following is stamped in purple ink on the back:  "WATER TANKS---U.S. Marines, landing on Green Island, set up portable canvas water tanks on the beach.  The distillation plant of the LST (Landing Ship Tank) close by, will fill the containers in a few hours, thus supplying the occupying troops with a quantity of fresh water.  Hdqrs No. 75,187 DIST LIST Stock WATCH YOUR CREDIT LINE OFFICIAL U.S. MARINE CORPS PHOTO by Cpl.
