    Description

Vintage Lot of 2 WWII Era Homefront War Bonds Parade Float Photographs Tank
    WWII War Bonds Parade
Two original 1940s World War II photographs of a War Bonds parade. The two pictures show floats being pulled by people mostly children. One snapshot is of a float in the shape of a tank with a sign that says "Keep em Rolling Jr. Chamber of Commerce."
The other picture is of a float with a small girl on it being pulled by a younger and a older boy, and it has a sign that says "Buy Bonds and Stamps Orange County C. Of C." Across the street from the photographer you can also see cars of the period and two other
onlookers, a small boy and his mother. The photos are about 4 1/2" by 2 3/4", and are in great shape with minor wear from age. These are great snapshots of the homefront during the World War 2 conflict.
