Vintage Hand Painted Violets Small Cabinet Wall Plate

Description

A studio hand painted small porcelain Taverite Bavaria cabinet/wall plate. Hand painted at The Buchanan Studio in Indianapolis, Indiana. A profusion of purple violets and green foliage against a light green background. Circa the early 1900s. No cracks or chips. A scruff line is present on the plate, but otherwise, shows minor wear. Measures approx. 6 3/8" in diameter. Very pretty.

Artificial light can cast an amber/yellow glow upon items, esp linens.
