Description
The device looks unused, 50s/80s production, battery is electrolyte unflooded free, they need to be actuated in accordance with the instructions for NKN types.ELECTROLYTE
The electrolyte in alkaline batteries consists of a 20% solution of chemically pure corrosivity potassium in distilled
water. Keep in mind that the electrolyte solution in the alkaline batteries becomes a current conductor, and observe
that the electrolyte don't leak through the caps.
Care should be taken when handling alkaline electrolyte.
CHARGING
Normal current of 2.5 amp.
Normal charging time - 6 hours. It is possible to charge faster, for example, instead of 6 hours charge 4 hours, but
within two hours of charging a current of two times greater than 5.0 amp. and within two hours of normal intensity t.j.
2.5 amp.
Requires one per month or every ten charge:
During the normal charging time, charge with normal current and then further in the same time with a current less than
half the normal current. Unscrew the battery caps before charging. Turn the caps after 6 days after the charge is
completed, or discharge 10 minutes with the normal current, ie. 2.5 amp. Then shake the battery and tighten the caps.
Don't get with flame near to the battery. During charging and within a few hours after completion of charging.
Don't charge in rooms where the temperature is higher than plus 30C
UNLOADING
Don't discharge the batteries to the voltage at the terminals of the component below 1.1-1.0 volts.
In case of discharging up to 0.8 volts, recharge the set. Normal discharge current for "NKN-10" is 1.25 amperes.
Normal use: according to capacity - 65%, acc. energy of 50%. When discharging a current greater than the indicated
value take care that the electrolyte temperature does not exceed 40C
