    Description

    Will be listing a number of photos taken from an American airman's photo album in the coming month or so.  He was apparently a P-51 fighter pilot in the South Pacific.
    This is a rare pair of photos!  Two pictures of the same Douglas DC-2, according to the writing on the back taken at Wheeler Field, Hawaii.
    Only 68 DC-2's were delivered to the Army Air Force
    before production of the more famous DC-3/C-47 began, so, this is a pretty scarce find!  Both are in excellent shape with original inscriptions on the back.   Photos are in nice shape and clear, I don't have a scanner so I'm taking photos of the photos, sorry about that!
