Rare Original Studio Portrait of US Sailor by On Char Studios in Honolulu. On Char was a Chinese American who ran the City Photo Studio in downtown Honolulu from 1911 to 1954. On Char's life's work is conserved at Johns Hopkins University.
Photo size is 5x7". It is framed in a cardboard studio mount, it is excellent condition. Mount measures 7x10". Probably one of the few photos in existence outside of the Johns Hopkins Collection. Perfect for the Hawaiiana/ Photography, Militaria collector.
