    Description

    ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH, WW2-vintage, black-n-white, measuring 4-inches wide by 3-inches high, depicting an American soldier standing next to a large sign which features the distinctive unit crest of the 67th AAA Gun Bn ("B Battery"). Good condition overall, despite a few wrinkles. Nice focus!
    The 67th Triple-A Gun Battalion was attached to the French Expeditionary Corps (CEF) that fought in central Italy throughout 1944. The unit continued to serve alongside French forces (i.e. - First French Army) fighting from southern France right up through to Germany's Rhineland.
