    An original, black and white, circa fall/winter 1945, photograph of the destroyed city of Nuremberg (from Allied bombing).
    Size: 2 3/4" X 4" including white border.
    This was likely taken during the immediate time period after the war with the Third Reich ended.
    This was taken in Nuremberg, Germany. The statute is the equestriam statue of Emperor (Kaiser) Wilheim 1 in Nuremberg.
    The photo is original and was taken by then Colonel John F. Freund.

    Condition is used. Photo has some curling.  Spots / faint lines on photo in sky area appear to be from original developing defects.
