    Anonymous silver drachm (470 - 800 AD), Kingdom of the Maitrakas of Valabhi
    Size:
    15 mm, 2.1 grams
    Early issue, rare as such. Bust of king right / Trident with curved prongs and side-arm. Corrupt Brahmi legend. Successors of Guptas.
    Very nice for this crude type. Rare, especially in this condition, and not often seen in the West. Mitchiner ACW 4897 - 4898
