    Description

Lot of 5 World War 2 Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Victim Photographs WWII Japan Bombing Kikkawa "Victim No. 1"
    Approximate measurements: 2" x 4"  and 3" x 5"
This lot of photos shows the aftermath of the Hiroshima A-bomb bombing. Some show the rubble and what's left of some of the buildings, and others show victims. A few of the photos show some of the victims that survived and some that did not. After doing a little bit of research I believe these are photo's from Kiyoshi Kikkawa's souvenir shop. Kikkawa's picture was taken in 1947. The handwritten note on the back is dated 1952 and may even be K. Kikkawa signature but I'm not certain. There is a total of 5 photos that come with their original envelope and tissue paper that has been written on.
