ITEM: Lot of 3 Original WWII Snapshot Photos with two images each developed together of the 778th AAA BATTALION - various places in London, England, 1944 before they crossed the English Channel to Continental Europe.
Photo was taken by Sergeant Daniel Siksnus of Chicago, Illinois who was in the 778th AAA (Anti-Aircraft Artillery) AW Battalion (SP) attached to the 76th Infantry Division from 21 January through 9 May 1945. Their battery was equipped with M15 Halftracks each mounting a 37mm AA gun and two .50 caliber M2 machine guns.
