DBX BX2 Power Amplifier

Description

DBX BX2 Power Amplifier. Condition is "Good". I bought this about 3 years ago. I tested it then an was waiting for parts to come available. They did not and I’m tired of waiting. This amp sounds and works great in direct input mode. The attenuators are shot as with all the units from this time period. They were junk when installed. Has excellent power capabilities and runs up to 4 sets of speakers. I did not test all functions because I’m to lazy to gather up 8 speakers. I do know that in 2 channel mode as you see it the unit bridges two amps left and two amps right to make this output work so all amps inside this unit work correctly. It must be in direct input mode to operate. If you find replacement attenuators then you are my hero. They are not needed and a pre amp to control input is also the best situation. It must have been a band group P.A system amp. The face has wear from brushing against something probably in the truck that moved the gear. No high usage and no signs of heat issues. Kicks butt. I would keep it but all my speakers are 500 to 1000 watts so no need. It’s a keeper. If you are going to buy it then keep the pics so you know how to hook it up. It is very complex.
