Signed unlined white 6x4 card by Bob Galer,USMC Ace. He commanded VMF-224 in 1942.In Sept,he led the unit to Guadalcanal.Shot down twice himself, he returned each time to play a major role in the defense of Henderson Field. He was awarded the M.O.H. as the 4th ranking fighter Ace of the Guadalcanal campaign. His wartime tally shows 13 confirmed kills,and 4 probables.
