LOVELY ANTIQUE BRUSSELS GRIFFON PRINT

Beautiful antique Brussels Griffon print which was carefully removed from an out-of-print book published circa 1915.   The print was mounted on a thick, textured paper backing which measures approximately 8.5 by 11 inches.
The print is in very good condition - note light creasing and light soiling.
You are purchasing the original book print, not a copy.  The reverse side is blank.
Edward Julius Detmold was a prolific Victorian and early twentieth century book illustrator.  He became one of the most talented of illustrators, depicting animals and plants with an extraordinary understanding, and making use of fantasy settings of architecture and landscape.
It will be carefully packaged in a plastic sleeve and shipped flat with thick cardboard.
