    Description
    This is a moderately used but still presentable
    "Cem"
    or 100 Escudos Ouro from Portugal. It is dated September 2, 1980 and was the first issue of this type. This type 100 Escudo was issued again and again. The last date of issue was July 4, 1985.
    The note pictures
    Manuel Maria Barbosa I'Hedois du Bocage a Portuguese poet who lived from 1765 until his early death at just age 40 in 1805.

    NH 50305 • Dark blue on multicolor underprint. • Manuel Maria Barbosa du Bocage at right and in watermark.
    Back:
    Rossio or King Pedro IV Square in Lisbon circa 1800's.
    The Note:
    A used piece of currency, it has been folded numerous times and has some edge roughness but no large tears. And a single tiny pinhole from wear at the center. As grading is subjective please see the pictures and judge for yourself.
