    Description

    Includes the first photo photo pictured only. These came from a large photo collection I purchased from an estate.
    Last two pictures shows details of the photo. Admiral Fletcher gives ceremony aborted his flagship (U.S.S. Concord). To dictate terms of the Ominato occupation to Japanese representatives. Captain C.A. Rumble, then command of the Concord, attended the ceremony. Followed by a Japanese emissaries sign documents providing for American control of Hokkaido and Northern Honshu.
