    Bougainville and was a mechanic 1944-5
    Original Vintage WWII 1940s photo I just removed from US Army Soldiers WWII Album.  Photos start out stateside training and end up overseas.  Lots of 1944-5 photos from Bougainville Campaign where he was with a heavy equipment unit running cranes.  I just found his name Donald Adams 1447 Foster Ave, (no town) He wrote info on the backs of many of them.  This was his moms album and she wrote on the front of many of the photos.
